As registered valuers we are able to offer valuation and appraisal services in accordance with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) - Valuation Standards (Red Book). Our valuations cater to individuals, commercial organisations, lending and financial institutions and government clients.
We have particular experience in dealing with the valuation of property that does not have an active market due to the specialised nature of the asset. Such properties are defined in the RICS Valuation – Global Standards (2022) as:
"A property that is rarely, if ever, sold in the market, except by way of a sale of the business or entity of
which it is part, due to the uniqueness arising from its specialised nature and design, its configuration, size, location or otherwise."
We have experience of preparing these sort of valuations for properties such as hospitals, schools, and other public sector assets.
For valuation instructions that fall outside of our scope of experience, in particular complex commercial valuations, hotel and leisure valuations and the like, KastleCay have established collaboration agreements with suitably qualified Caymanian valuation business who can prepare these sort of reports.
